C-Melody Saxophones

The C-Melody saxophones listed below vary from 'playable' to 'projects' - but in the course of time I'll obviously try to get them all up to a good playing standard.  All are 'LP' / A=440, which means they will play in tune with modern instruments.  I'm open to sensible offers, and will ship to most parts of the world - I'm based in England / UK.  For any general questions about C-Melody Saxophones, go to my  Question and Answer  page, or the  Model info  page.

Martin C-Melody Sax.     s/no 39847    Silver plate - selling as a 'Project'			1914 Frank Holton C-Melody saxophone. Sax has 2 minor dings and pads need to be replaced. Has a matt silver plated finish. Serial number 22111. Complete with C Melody mouthpiece and original case. Offers over £175.  This sax also has (spatula) Front-F key.

Naujoks Mclaughlin ebonite with inlaid metal (possibly silver) table.  Beautiful player, fluid.	Markings have faded away, but same as another one I've had, and with steel shank ring.  #2 facing	offers

Alto Saxophones

	Martin Magna alto ! My baby...   ca. 1962/63, s/no 218xxx - original lacquer in remarkably good condition, plus silver keys and cross on bell.  In vintage Martin hard case.  I'll post more pictures very soon.   It's a bit special in all respects , and none of the other instruments I own have a sound that approaches its flexibility.     Hopefully I'll only sell it when I've given up on playing pretty much completely, and at 61 now,  that's probably 10-15 years away.  So if you're interested around  2020......? Here's how it plays, bit of Grover Washington soundalike, but it's me really, plus backing track - with a $50 Aquilasax metal mouthpiece that I'm really getting to like. Price ?   Seriously serious offers in the region of £1200 - naturally you can come down to Weymouth and test-play it (by appointment...)

International offers are always very welcome, you can pay with Paypal payments in UK Pounds. If payment is made through Paypal with a credit card, I reserve the right to ship only after the payment has been transferred from Paypal into my UK bank account.   Transfer direct to my Bank Account is another option.

International buyers are responsible for any import duty and/or taxes payable to their Customs. Purchasers within the European Community will notusually be liable for any import duty and/or taxes.  Out-of-UK shipping costs will be higher, I will gladly 'guesstimate' - but please be aware that the exact cost may not be available until after the instrument has been properly packed.  The level of insurance required may also require more expensive shipping tariffs.  Wherever possible I will combine shipping costs on multiple items
